Kozhikode: Chief minister Oommen Chandy said the govt won't withdraw from the basics of the alcohol arrangement. He was identifying with mediapersons in the wake of gathering Thamarassery bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil. Chandy said there will be no progressions in the govt stand to close down 10 percent of Bevco outlets consistently. Alcohol with high liquor substance will be halted in 10 years time. 

At the point when gotten some information about his gathering with the Bishop, Chandy declined to expound on the gathering and said it went off agreeably. The CM had informed the Bishop about the circumstances in which the govt permitted 418 shut bars to begin brew and wine parlors. 

The chief minister met the Bishop in the wake of the different challenges by the opposition to alcohol unit of KCBC which was holding Nilpusamaram against the govt's turn to weaken the alcohol approach.
